OGI Digital to Provide Canadian Auto Dealers with Web-Based Shopping and Marketing Solutions
Burlington, ON, March 20, 2018 – OGI Digital (a sister company to RSR Global) has announced the introduction of a new business division to provide Canadian auto dealers with online technology solutions. The business unit is named OGI (Online Guided Intelligence).
OGI has a mandate to become the Canadian source for dealers’ online marketing, research, and buying solutions sourced from tier one partners across North America. OGI Digital spent two years sourcing the best vendors and will leverage its vast network of over 1,700 dealers. “We’ve been listening to dealers over the past number of years and understand their pain points in their endeavor to market online,” says Karey Davidson, President and CEO, OGI Digital. “What’s equally important is that we are keenly aware of consumer trends. We sourced the best of the best tech partners to supply solutions that car buyers want to use and that they can trust, which will ultimately help generate more sales for our clients,” she adds.
OGI has been recently launched, rolling out its first product offering – an online guided shopping solution powered by PERQ. PERQ, a software provider, boosts website conversions by creating and delivering interactive experiences to the right consumers at the right time. Founded in 2001, PERQ solutions today are used by more than 1,000 businesses across the United States. OGI Digital is proud to be the exclusive Canadian provider of the PERQ online guided shopping solution.
The online guided shopping solution, a connected suite of solutions that gets added to an existing dealer website which helps consumers research and shop, was selected as the launch product for OGI as it fits with the new division’s mission to offer platforms that will build consumer trust for dealers. “This solution is built with the customer in mind first, and the dealer lead second, in order to foster trust and loyalty,” says Jenny Vance, Executive VP Sales, PERQ. “We do not put lead traps in front of them. By doing so, consumers do more and share more, which helps dealers win business,” she adds.
Dealer websites today can be cumbersome and are designed with the intent of simply getting your contact information. This shopping solution will offer easier, more intuitive tools to help traffic remain on site longer, ultimately producing stronger leads. It is all about customer experience – learning information about the consumer and adjusting the experience accordingly, creating a tailored shopping experience.
After analysis, conservative findings show that an average client can expect to see a 30 percent increase in leads from existing web traffic; three times higher duration on site; 15 percent higher close rates; and leads generated by the shopping solution offer five percent higher gross profit.
A recent test pilot of the online guided shopping solution with Harris Mazda in Nanaimo, BC has proven to be a major success. “Other dealers are intrigued. We get calls from dealers all across Canada wanting to know how we’re doing what we do,” says General Manager Doug Culham of Harris Mazda. “It’s all about being flexible, he adds, because car shoppers are put off when the sales process doesn’t go the way they want.”
Next up early this summer, OGI Digital will be launching its second dealer technology offering. This highly anticipated solution will offer technology to locate car shoppers in real-time. More information will be made available on this over the coming months.
